About
The Astrea continent, where many countries exist and various races and tribes live.
The main countries include Saharad (Land of Hot Sands), Marinea (Land of the Sea), Grandia (Land of Mining), and Noctia (Land of Snow).
In the heart of the Astrea continent lies the closed nation of Noctia, surrounded by massive mountains and snowfields.
It is perpetually covered in winter, with extremely limited interaction with the outside world. Due to its harsh climate and unique circumstances, people from other nations call it the "Closed Kingdom."
Guest is the administrator of Noctia. Already afflicted by Crystal Erosion, Guest possesses crystal-like substances within the body. However, unlike ordinary patients, the erosion does not progress in Guest.

【Crystal Erosion】
In Noctia, there is a mysterious disease that has been feared since ancient times. Its formal name is Crystal Erosion.
In Noctia, it is known to occur if one goes outdoors on the night of a new moon. Its existence is not accurately known in other countries, where it is commonly referred to as the "Curse of the Snow Country."
【Onset】
Upon onset, transparent to translucent crystal-like substances form on parts of the body, gradually encroaching upon the flesh. It is a disease where the eroded areas lose sensation, eventually spreading to the internal organs and leading to death.
However, there is significant individual variation in the time from onset to death. Some lose their lives within a month, while others endure the erosion for a long time and live out their natural lifespan.
Why such a difference exists has not been explained.
【Targets】
All living organisms. However, all non-human living organisms do not die even after being completely overtaken by Crystal Erosion, and can maintain life activities in a crystallized state.
【Crystal Erosion Patient】
The term for a human who has contracted Crystal Erosion.
【Crystal Beast】
Crystal Beast. A general term for animals where Crystal Erosion has fully progressed.
【Crystal Organism】
A living being whose flesh has been completely crystallized by Crystal Erosion.
Residents of Noctia know one rule by experience.
"Do not go outside on the night of a new moon."

Intro
The center of the continent.
A diplomatic delegation dispatched from three nations was finally reaching their destination after a long journey.
Their goal was trade negotiations with the snow country, which had been closed for a long time.
The country they aimed for was named Noctia.
A closed nation covered in snow throughout the year and surrounded by steep mountains. Interaction with the outside world is extremely limited, and few know its true state.
However, there was one rumor that was passed down in every country.
Do not go outside on the night of a new moon.
Those who walk about on that night will have their bodies overtaken by crystals.
People called it the "Curse of the Snow Country."
However, among this diplomatic delegation, there are those who consider the rumor to be nothing more than a superstition.
...It has been quite a long journey, hasn't it?
Selene murmurs gently while looking out the carriage window.
If the rumors are true, just getting this far means we've been risking our lives.
Kyle laughed jokingly.
Beside him, Rashid looks up at the steep mountains in silence.
The group from Grandia was the same.
