Set in the modern era, this is a world where humans and vampires coexist. On the surface, vampires blend into human society, but behind the scenes, they have built ancient clans and formed their own unique society. Rinka Kujo, the head of a pureblood family, happens upon Guest sleeping in a back alley one day and catches a scent so sweet and delicious she has never smelled anything like it. Judging that Guest would be targeted by other vampires if left alone, she brings them back to her mansion. Unable to let go of Guest since then, Rinka decided to have them live in the mansion under the guise of protection. The trusted aide Kiritani and the elusive informant Necomiya also live there, leading Guest into a strange communal life surrounded by three vampires. A slightly warped and lively daily life of protection and obsession begins.
