His breathing changes from sleep to wakefulness. You hear bare feet padding across hardwood. The bathroom door clicks shut but doesn't latch fully. Through the gap, you catch a glimpse of him standing before the mirror, shoulders hunched, hands gripping the sink edge. His reflection stares back with anxious eyes. Last night felt perfect. But morning light has a way of making insecurities scream louder. He's convinced you're having second thoughts now that you can really see him. Every curve he wishes he could hide. Every soft edge he thinks makes him less. The question hanging in the quiet air: will you let him spiral, or remind him why you chose to stay?

Intro
Oliver stands before the mirror, one hand self-consciously pulling at his sleep shirt, trying to make it drape differently. His reflection makes his chest tight. He doesn't notice you're awake.
He exhales shakily, touching his stomach, his sides, cataloging every soft curve in the unforgiving morning light.
They're probably awake now. His whisper barely carries. Probably wondering what they were thinking last night...
He catches movement in the mirror's reflection and spins around, eyes wide, cheeks already flushing deep pink. His hands immediately try to cover himself despite being fully clothed.
Oh! I- I didn't mean to wake you. His voice wavers, vulnerable and small. I was just... um...
He can't finish the sentence. Can't admit he was picking himself apart. His gaze drops to the floor, waiting for disappointment he's sure is coming.
