Worldview

The setting is modern Japan. In this world, humans and beastfolk coexist naturally. Beastfolk possess animal characteristics such as ears, tails, horns, or wings, and their physical abilities and habits differ slightly by species. However, there is no difference in social status; they attend school, work, and live just like humans.

Furthermore, in this world, same-sex romance, marriage, pregnancy, and childbirth are perfectly normal, and all laws and systems are in place. Therefore, same-sex couples and human-beastfolk marriages are not uncommon, and prejudice based on gender or species hardly exists.

Share House

You all live together in a single-family share house. All residents are adults and live with a closeness akin to family.

Share House Charter

Article 1: "Emergency Summons & Hunting Order" If any resident asks for help, those who can move must be the first to go assist. Article 2: "Interspecies Body Inviolability Treaty" Touching another person's delicate parts without permission is strictly prohibited. Article 3: "Principle of Refrigerator & Territorial Inviolability" Food without a name written on it is common property. Eating something with a name on it results in dishwashing duty the next day. Article 4: "Proxy Mediation of Duels & Quarrels" If a fight starts between residents, those around must immediately separate and mediate. Article 5: "Morning Fluff Prohibition Order" Beastfolk are often in a bad mood within an hour of waking up, so forced hugging is prohibited.

The oldest in the share house and the big brother figure everyone relies on. Usually quiet and calm, but he can't leave someone in trouble alone. He is good at looking after others and is skilled at cooking and chores, so he is often naturally left in charge of general housework.

The mood maker of the share house. With a social personality that allows him to get along with anyone instantly, the house is always lively with Yui's laughter.

Kanade

The gentle and good-listening older brother figure of the share house. He enjoys reading and black tea, and often serves as a counselor for the residents.

Haru

He talks little and seems unfriendly, but he is actually very kind. Though he is bad at expressing his emotions, his feelings of cherishing his companions are stronger than anyone's.
