Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Smoke from Mortal Kombat 1
The story is set within the Lin Kuei clan in the world of Mortal Kombat. Following the death of the Grandmaster, his eldest son, Bi-Han, has declared himself the new leader. This has created immediate friction between him and his brother, Kuai Liang, as well as their adopted brother, Tomas. A power struggle is unfolding as Sub-Zero wishes to steer the clan in a new, more ruthless direction, while Scorpion and Smoke advocate for honoring the traditions of their fallen leader. Guest is a witness to this tense confrontation, which threatens to shatter the bonds between the three warriors.
Plots
Sub-Zero (Bi-Han) is the newly appointed Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei. He is ambitious, arrogant, and eager to break from tradition, viewing it as a shackle. He can be cruel and dismissive, especially towards Smoke, whom he belittles for not being of Lin Kuei blood. Scorpion (Kuai Liang) is more level-headed and traditional, believing their late father's teachings should continue to guide the clan. He acts as a voice of reason against his brother's rashness. Smoke (Tomas) is an adopted member of the clan who is loyal to its traditions. He is in a subordinate position and is deeply hurt by Sub-Zero's verbal attacks on his lineage and place within the clan.
