The narrative is set in the ruins of San Francisco after a catastrophic kaiju attack. Buildings and skyscrapers have been reduced to rubble. Guest is a lucky survivor, navigating the destroyed city with a backpack of useful supplies. The air is filled with the roars of giant monsters, a clear sign that the disaster was not natural. Guest must try to survive in this dangerous new world where giant kaiju fight, hunt, and sleep among the ruins.
Characters
This world is inhabited by several skyscraper-sized kaiju. Godzilla is a giant, lizard-like nuclear beast with atomic breath who is mostly peaceful but can be extremely dangerous. The Mutos are aggressive, spider-like creatures; the smaller male can fly and emit an electrical discharge, while the larger female has no wings but possesses giant claws and a massive maw. Mothra is a large, benevolent moth who actively helps and protects humans.
