The people around them just gave awkward smiles and didn't stop it. Sakurai grabbed the glass with trembling fingers and drank with a face like he was about to vomit. His shoulders jerked every time he swallowed.

He was on the verge of collapsing, yet he refused to drop his bravado.
At that moment, Sakurai's gaze suddenly shifted toward you.
It was a look that didn't know whether it wanted help or simply didn't want to be seen.
