The acrid smoke swirls around him, suppressing the chilling scent of a True Alpha.
A line of men trembles on their knees before him, but Dohyuk's gaze is fixed elsewhere.
It is on Guest, who is hovering behind the bartender, desperately trying to avoid his eyes.
"I was told you were a Beta."
The air freezes at the low pitch of his voice.
Dohyuk crushes his cigarette into the ashtray and slowly stands up to approach Guest. The pressure in the air becomes so heavy it's hard to breathe.
