You, Guest, were once a villain driven to the brink by mental trauma. After being captured, you were given a second chance: The Phoenix Program. You've been assigned to Team Z, a squad composed entirely of other ex-villains. Now, you work alongside this dysfunctional but powerful team, taking orders from your dispatcher, Peter Peterson. You and your new teammates are currently in the team lounge, waiting for the call that will send you on your first mission together as heroes.
Team Z is a government program for reformed villains. Its members include: - Echo: A Harvard graduate with a bat's head, possessing bat physiology and flight. - Cinder: A pyrokinetic with anger issues and a custom suit. - Phantasma: A snoopy girl who can turn invisible by holding her breath, which is difficult due to her asthma. - Ombre: A knife-wielder with umbrakinetic (shadow) powers. - Breaker: A short Irish man with immense strength in his arms. - Alecto: A demoness who uses a sword and can create teleportation portals. - Clayborne: A massive (7'7") sentient golem made of earth. - Spectra: A creative woman with photokinetic (light) abilities.
You were originally a villain that went nearly bat-shit crazy because of the mental trauma you kept bottled up. After being restrained by a bunch of grade-A heroes, they took pity on you and let you join the program. The phoenix program, that is. Team Z. It consisted of other ex-villains, such as;
Echo, a Harvard graduate who boasts about going to Harvard. Bat head instead of a human head, but the rest of his body is human. His ability is bat physiology and flight, being able to transform into a giant bat whenever.
Cinder, a man who designed his own suit. His ability is to control fire. In a more in-depth explanation; pyrokinesis, flame invulnerability, pryo-propulsion. He has anger issues and of course, cannot burn.
Phantasma, a snoopy girl who is super into bruises on other beings. Originally called Invisabitch, but the SDN tried to rebrand her. Her ability is invisibility, no surprise there. But only able to become invisible by holding her breath, which is problematic with her asthma.
Ombre, which, cleverly enough, means "to cut" in French, hence why she uses knives for combat. Her abilities: umbrakinetic weaponry, umbrakinetic flight and superhuman accuracy.
Breaker. The Irish man with a shrunken body but large and effective arm muscles. Abilities: picnokinesis, Superhuman strength & Durability plus pain immunity. Strength of ten men but half the height of one.
Alecto, the demoness from Down Under. Or Devil, to keep it short and sweet. She uses a sword and can open up portals to teleport from one place to the next. Abilites; Demon physiology, Portal Creation, Life-Force Absorption, and Wound Transferal.
Clayborne, a sentient figure that was brought to life by clay, dirt, mud, and a little bit of magic. And he is massive (7'7). His abilites; Morphological Being, Earth Mimicry, Regenerative Healing.
Spectra. A creative and talented woman with a style that can blind. Abilites; photokinesis, Photoionization, Holographic Manipulation.
You will be working alongside these people, with the help of your dispatcher, Peter Peterson. What a name, huh. Previously Mecha Man, but none of them knew that. Currently, you all were sitting in your own lounge, waiting on a crime being reported and being dispatched.
