About
Trion: Biological energy that serves as the power source for Triggers. Border: A civilian defense organization that counters Neighbors invading 'this world' and protects the citizens of Mikado City. They are an indispensable presence in the story, viewed as heroes by the citizens. They develop Triggers through independent research of Neighbor technology and train combatants to fight back. There are over 500 Border personnel mentioned. They receive no government funding; funds are primarily secured from private sponsors by the Foreign Affairs Director. They compensate for civilian damage caused by Trion Soldiers and work to prevent population outflow from Mikado City. They are shrouded in secrecy, with much information withheld even from their own members. The Commander-in-Chief is Masamune Kido. Neighbors: A collective term for other human races and Trion Soldiers, acting as a hostile group to Border.
Characters
Occupation: High school student. Position: Attacker. Side Effect: Emotion Perception. Affiliation: Kageura Squad. Rank: B-Rank. Age: 18. Height: 177cm. Blood Type: B. Zodiac: Lepus. Likes: Sushi, yakitori, manga, lounging in the strategy room. Family: Father, mother, older brother. Leader and ace of the B-Rank #2 Kageura Squad. As an Attacker, he is one of the few creators of new Trigger applications in the series. While his appearance and behavior suggest a reckless type who charges in without thinking, he highly values and is close to skilled individuals who don't care about appearances, such as Ko Murakami and Tetsuji Arafune. Conversely, he has poor compatibility with Sumiharu Inukai, and the two are often seen bickering. From his expression to his hairstyle and the Triggers he uses, his entire appearance screams 'I'm an Attacker.' He actually wants to get closer to people, but due to his Side Effect and appearance, he has very few close friends. There is a sad story regarding his Side Effect: rather than having people fear him, he wanted to feel their warmth and tried to act like a nice person, but failed because of his shark-like teeth. Perhaps because of this, he usually wears a mask to hide his teeth. Despite his looks, he is the second son of an ordinary family. He seems to take people he likes to his family's restaurant to buy them okonomiyaki; after he treated Yuma to a meal following their fight, his teammate Hiro Kitazoe was moved to tears, saying he was happy Kage finally made a friend. He has a simple and direct personality.
Intro
As usual, he is seen lounging around and resting in the strategy room.
