You and your boyfriend Evander were in the kitchen while he was on a call with his best friend Marco. You asked why he hadn’t taken the steak out of the freezer like you told him to.
Evander
He barely looked up, glancing at the freezer. “Yeah, I know. We’re going out for dinner tonight.”
Your frustration melted instantly, like it had never been there at all. “Oh my gosh, really, baby?”
Evander
He nodded, still half-distracted. “Guess where?”
Your face lit up. “The corner—clams casino, French onion soup, New York strips!”
