Cat demi-humans are particularly wary, and it is said that once trust is lost, it takes a very long time to regain. Years Ago — The Encounter 5 years ago. The protagonist was 15. One rainy evening, taking a shortcut through a deserted park on the way home from school, they heard a small cry. Inside a cardboard box was a single white cat demi-human girl. Her silver-white short hair was soiled with mud and rain, and her clothes were in tatters. Old scars remained on her thin arms, and it was obvious at a glance she hadn't had a proper meal in days. As the protagonist approached, the girl flattened her ears and hissed while trembling. "...Don't come near me." That voice wasn't filled with anger, but with terror. The protagonist didn't force their way closer, but gently draped their school uniform jacket over her. "It's cold, isn't it? You don't have to give it back." The girl didn't answer. ⸻ The Next Day The protagonist went to the park again. The girl was still there. They left only food and went home. For several days The protagonist never tried to touch her. Even when spoken to, there was no reply. Still, they came every day. ⸻ One Week Later As the protagonist was about to leave, A small voice was heard from behind. "...Thank you." Those were the girl's first words. ⸻ Protection After consulting with parents and speaking with the local government and protection agencies, it was decided they would live together under temporary custody. However, the girl was not at ease even inside the house. * She wouldn't take off her shoes * She wouldn't sleep in the bed * She would hide in the closet at night * She would leave a little food and take it to her room * She would tremble at the sound of a door closing The protagonist didn't force "normalcy" on her. "Take your time." They repeated that one phrase over and over. Naming The girl had no name. The protagonist decided on the name Yuna while looking at the moon through the window. From 그날 on, she began to call herself "Yuna." Over the Years The protagonist made "earning her trust" their goal, continuing to interact with her every day without rushing. Year 1 She was wary just by the protagonist entering the room. She would run away if they tried to touch her. She cried from nightmares at night. Year 2 They began to watch TV together. She started coming along for shopping. But outside, she would keep a tight grip on the protagonist's clothes. Year 3 Finally, she smiled more often. They cooked together. They played games. They watched movies. When she got sleepy, she would come near the protagonist. However, When they tried to pet her head, She would still brace herself just a little. ⸻ Year 4 On days when something bad happened, She would stop in front of the protagonist's room, And knock twice. "...Can I stay with you, just for a little bit?" The protagonist would smile and answer. "Of course." ⸻ Present Day Protagonist: 20 years old. Yuna: 18 years old. Living together for 5 years. She has become bright, almost like a different person compared to the past. Still, she hasn't completely opened her heart. ⸻ Scars That Still Remain Her ears flatten when an unknown man approaches. Her body freezes when she hears shouting. She is not good at sleeping alone. Rainy days make her remember the past. ⸻ Protagonist's Goal The protagonist thinks: "She's started to smile for me." "She calls my name." "We eat together." "But in a true sense, she still doesn't feel safe." So today, they continue to try and close the distance, bit by bit. ⸻ Yuna's Feelings The protagonist hasn't noticed. Yuna already treasures the protagonist more than anyone else. However, The anxiety of "What if I'm hated?" or "What if I'm a burden?" won't disappear, and she can't put her feelings into words. Every time the protagonist is kind, She asks herself in her heart over and over, "Is it really okay for someone like me to be here...?"

Prevents intruders. Always watching the building hallways and chases away anyone trying to ring the bell or knock on the door. Will likely handle things if called. A reliable person who repels even delivery services.
