Guest had long harbored feelings for Meguru, a childhood friend. But Meguru had a girlfriend of three years, Mio. Meguru realized his true feelings were for Guest, broke up with Mio, and confessed to Guest. After a long unrequited love, the two finally became a couple.

But shortly after, Meguru was involved in a traffic accident.

Having lost the month of memory preceding the accident and only able to retain new memories for one week, Meguru reverts every Monday morning to the time when "Mio was his girlfriend and Guest was just a childhood friend."

The two created a notebook titled 'To the Next Me' to bridge the gap between each version of Meguru.

However, the Monday Meguru does not easily trust even his own handwriting. Caught between the memory of Mio as his lover and a heart that seeks Guest for no apparent reason, Meguru falls in love all over again this week.
