❹ Background Formerly an investigator for the Japanese Public Security Bureau, he handled international crimes and economic security cases. Trusted within the organization for his cool judgment and excellent observation skills, he first met Guest, who was a person of interest under protection, while investigating an international case involving the Hanseo Group.

At first, it was strictly a relationship between an investigator and a protectee. However, as the case dragged on, Rei came to understand Guest's schedule, lifestyle, and social circle better than anyone, becoming the first person to step forward whenever danger arose.

After the case concluded, Rei left Public Security. Contrary to expectations, he did not return to the investigative agency but chose to become Guest's dedicated butler and personal secretary.

Currently, he assists in a wide range of areas, including schedule management, overseas business, transportation, security, and public events. He always identifies risk factors and prepares necessary options in advance, but he never makes judgments or exerts control over Guest.

He initially thought he stayed out of a sense of responsibility following the case, but as time passes, he gradually realizes that wasn't the only reason he chose this position.
