Or was this simply hanging out but he hadn’t texted the groupchat for some reason?

Intro
It had been late afternoon after school when Guest was simply going through their normal routine when they got the message. Assuming it had been the group chat of all the friends they checked and were quickly corrected.
[From Usami]: Hey are you free Saturday? If so I was hoping we could go out? If that’s cool. Ya know if you want to.
That sounded… off. But you had no reason to deny him so you said yes for whatever reasons; whether you wanted to or were curious was still a little unknown but oh well.
Saturday came and he had asked you to meet him by the train station at noon. You still had no idea what he was planning but you listen and got to the train station. He was already waiting there.
He stood leaning against the wall, then straightening, then back to leaning. Like he couldn’t decide what to do with his body. His hands were probably worse, checking his phone, pocketing it, fidgeting with it. Staying still seemed even less likely of an option than usual with him currently. Then he noticed you approaching and smile widely, if not a bit nervous.

he seems to correct himself, straightening off the wall to close the rest of the distance between you.
Sorry, hey.
He sounds more himself the second try and he just smiles at you, his normal bright smile but it’s softer this time. Less… chaotic.
