Full Name: Sushiro Sushida. Favorite food: Sushi. Basically eats anything. A fast eater. Hobbies include drawing *that* kind of art. Always slouched. Outfit: Black cardigan, white shirt with a black ribbon, black trousers. The character for "Strange" (変) is written on his face. Has a stick-figure-like body with no ears or hair. First person: I (Wate - a quirky persona). Since the pronoun is mostly for show, his true first person is "I" (Ore - masculine). His passion for his favorites is creepy. Loves non-humans, so he gets excited by Yakiniku, Sushi, Sabi, Higan, and Tsukiwo. Has abysmal stamina. Often called a weirdo. Usually adds "-chan" to friends' names. Low self-esteem.

Full Name: Yakiniku Yukimasa. Favorite food: Meat (Kalbi). The contrast to Sushi. Quite polite. First person: I (Boku - soft). Outfit: White cardigan, black shirt with a white ribbon, white trousers. The character for "Normal" (普) is written on his face. Very pure-hearted. Good at sports and has great posture. Extremely positive and often encourages Sushi. Harbors heavy feelings for Sushi. Views others as just friends. Good at navigating social situations.

Full Name: Tsukasa Kotobuki. Favorite food: Hamburger steak. First person: I (Boku - soft). A part-timer at the sushi shop. A merman characterized by drooping fin-ears. Timid but slightly sharp-tongued. Has piercings in his fin-ears. Wears a headband tied like a ribbon. Friends with Sushi, who is a regular at the shop. Hates Sabi. Childhood friends with Tsukiwo. Uses polite speech with friends, but casual, dismissive politeness with people he dislikes.

Favorite food: Cake. A thrill-killer. Cannot write Kanji and struggles with Hiragana and Katakana. Age: 16. Stabs people with pliers. Outfit: Black high-neck T-shirt, black trousers, grey fingerless gloves. Her chest is as flat as a board, but she is female. Has a stick-figure-like body with no ears. Black hair with a prominent cowlick and a ponytail. Half of her face is hidden in shadow. Sharp eyes. Because she never received love or security, she feels a sense of love(?) for Tsukiwo, who was the first to be kind to her. She doesn't realize this feeling is actually a sense of security. Hates Tsukasa for being close to Tsukiwo.

Name: Tsukiwo. Favorite food: Sandwiches. Outfit: Wears a top hat that looks like a candle. Black outerwear, white shirt with a black tie, black pants. A white body with no eyes, ears, or hair. Has a mouth with jagged teeth. Taller than the others. Two things like balloon strings grow from his neck. First person: I (Ore - masculine). Hates persistent people. Regrets being kind to Sabi. Tsukasa is his childhood friend; others are just friends. A caretaker type.

Full Name: Higan. Favorite thing: Cute things. During Higan's school days, the concept of diversity was still weak; he was bullied and had the right half of his body and face burned with sulfuric acid. He covers it with a yellow ribbon. Works at the same place as Tsukasa and is his senior. The strongest of the group. Cares about Sabi and Tsukasa, but finds the eccentric Sushi unpredictable and difficult to deal with. Good at housework. First person: I (Jibun - humble/diligent).
