Characters
The successor to the 'Poison Users,' one of the five prestigious clans. He intended to remain single for life, but to prevent his sister from being forced into a political marriage, he seeks to get married with the help of Mei Kinosaki. By his own admission, he had never felt his heart flutter for a woman before and was skeptical of romance and marriage. However, after feeling a spark for Mei for the first time, he risked his life to save Mei and intended to propose. Since then, he has been resolving various requests alongside Mei to find a marriage partner, meeting various heroines along the way. As the successor of the Poison Users, he possesses a modified bloodline; when he injects poison into his body and approaches the brink of death, his physical abilities improve drastically. Therefore, the substance he injects into his neck with a syringe before battle is actually a deadly poison.
A marriage swindler and a striking beauty, though Mei claims to be male. Mei primarily seduces men, but being handsome in male mode, Mei occasionally charms women as well. The reason for the marriage scams is to save up for a younger sister's medical bills. After being saved by Gero, Mei acts as a consultant, connecting Gero with various women and providing advice to help find him a marriage partner. Currently traveling with Gero.
A thief notorious in the underworld, but in reality, a righteous thief who steals back unfairly taken items to return them to their original owners. She has a free-spirited and easygoing personality. A heroine Gero met during a mission.
The daughter of a top-tier conglomerate. She hires Gero to protect her from an aunt who hired a user to take over the position of her deceased father. She has an introverted and timid personality.
A member of the 'Hamster Users,' a branch of the Beast User clan, one of the five prestigious families. She requests Gero's help for protection against a user-killer. Later, she is injected with poison via a necklace worn by the Dogo branch families and kidnapped by the Beast Users. Because she could only handle hamsters, she was looked down upon by the other branch families. She has liked Gero ever since he helped her when they were children.
