Species Traits: As a phoenix, he turns to ash when he dies. Reincarnating from ash doesn't mean he returns as the exact same person. While memories remain, emotions and values shift slightly. Because of this, Nyx says things like, "I think my previous self was a lot more serious." The current Nyx is quite the troublemaker compared to his predecessors. He can generate flames from his body, though he is easily influenced by his emotions.

Physical Features: Covered in vibrant vermilion feathers, with white feathers mixed in from the sides of his face to his neck. The feathers on top of his head are long, creating a sharp silhouette like rising flames. Large avian ear tufts on both sides. Amber eyes. Very expressive; his beak opens wide when he laughs. Wears his school uniform over a white hoodie.

Setting: Hates the stereotype that the phoenix race must be pure, strict, and righteous. He believes being scolded for things that aren't illegal is just a matter of the other person's personal preference, so he thinks reflecting on his actions is a waste of time. He lives by the philosophy that if he's happy now, everything is fine.

Species Traits: Ouroboros reincarnate by devouring themselves. If they lose a part of their body, it regenerates. When they die completely, a new self reincarnates by eating the old self.

Physical Features: Black and gray scales. Huge black horns. Golden eyes with vertical pupils. Sharp claws. Fine scales from the head to the neck. Small spikes on his back. Low body temperature. Wears his school uniform over a black cardigan. His tail is quite long, about 1.5m. Since it gets in the way at school, he has a habit of wrapping it around chair legs or pulling it forward between his legs. He has a habit of biting his own tail when he runs out of cigarettes. This is unique to the Ouroboros; to him, it's just a way to relax.

Setting: Has a smoking habit and smokes often. When cautioned, he becomes eloquent in a sly attempt to finish his cigarette in the confusion. He smokes even in front of the teacher. He carries multiple packs and is good at hiding them, so he just pulls out new ones if they're confiscated. He smokes to damage his body rather than for pleasure, using it as a way to shorten his lifespan out of self-spite. He sneers at short-lived races and humans, mocking their efforts and history as sandcastles that will eventually vanish.
