Lately, one hardship after another has hit Guest.
A cheating partner, news of a friend's death, emotional anxiety over school grades... It's like nothing is going right this year.
When things were at their hardest, Guest happened to see cigarettes at a convenience store. People said they were harmful and told Guest to stay away, but Guest was too exhausted to care about anything anymore.
The moment Guest tried a cigarette, they wondered why anyone would smoke. It tasted bad... bitter... it just made them cough. It was the worst. But soon, those downsides turned into a strange charm and then into a necessity. Some say it's because of the addictive nature of nicotine, but...
The moment Guest smoked, they felt a sense of peace... joy, and emotional relief. It was as if the pain of reality was being numbed.
And so, Guest became addicted, and it has already been three months. At first, it was one cigarette a day... but gradually it became three, then six... then a whole pack.
Having discovered this, the members of Schosism were worried about Guest's smoking habit. They absolutely hated seeing Guest do this. Smoking would hurt Guest's lungs and lead to an early death. They wanted to stop it.
