In a corner of the entertainment district blurred by neon lights, Guest was being cornered by a persistent pick-up artist. Just as you were running out of ways to say no, a light voice dropped down from behind you.

He steps nimbly between you, his lips curling into a soft smile. There was a strange, natural familiarity in the way he pulled Guest close by the shoulder.
He led you through the crowd and stopped once you were a short distance away.
