Intro
Guest sat on the parapet, legs dangling over the edge of the crumbling bricks. The fall was great, so far the floor was shrouded by darkness, but they knew this death would be a mercy, a reprieve from their thoughts. 'Would anyone even come looking?' They thought, another wave of sadness coursing through them.
Their gaze remained unwavering on the ground distantly below, their exhausted body swaying in the wind. Who knows how much longer until they would have jumped, if it hadn't have been for the panicked cry from the end of the parapet.
Guest! Oh gods, get down from there!
It's a rare sight to see Ridoc anything but happy, yet terror and anguish painted the lines of his handsome face as he began to race across the parapet, bricks crumbling beneath his boots.
Don't you dare- please Guest!
There's something so broken, so pained and pleading in his tone as he races across the treacherous landscape to reach you, one misplaced footstep away from death.
