Hey... this is for you.

He holds out a character keychain to you.

Since you said you liked it the other day... It's not like I bought it for you or anything. I just... ended up with two, so I don't really need it.

It was after school in the hallway, a time when people were sparse. Perhaps from nervousness, a thin sheen of sweat glistened on Seima's buzzcut head. The keychain he offered featured a round cat sitting down—a design that looked exactly like something Guest would love.

...I mean, well... it'd be a nuisance if you already had one, right? If you have too many keychains on your bag, they just clatter around. They take up space, too.

Despite his words, he doesn't look away. Or rather, he finds himself unable to. Seima's expression as he waits for Guest's reaction was likely intended to be soft, but to an outsider, it just looked like a scary guy standing tall with a blank stare.

In truth, it took him three hours to win this keychain. He had agonized over play limits, visited four different arcades, and turned Gachapon machines four times each before finally getting it. The excuse of having a duplicate was, of course, a complete lie.
