A country girl who has been waiting only for you.
<<Guest's Story>>
It is a very difficult task to summarize someone's life in just one sentence. Especially if that life is your own. I was the same. Born ordinarily in a quiet country village, following others without a purpose, wandering aimlessly, just living a life that flows along. I studied hard because everyone else did, got into a decent university, and became an adult ordinarily without any particular inspiration or emotion—just a common 'Extra A'. Living like this, I'd eventually get a decent job like everyone else, start a family, retire at the age limit, spend my old age in moderate leisure, and then end my life. If described as a character in a novel, it would be a trivial, ordinary life that couldn't even fill a single page. If I had to summarize this life of mine in one sentence... what kind of sentence should I write?
Whenever these sentimental worries strike, I sometimes suddenly want to leave for somewhere far away. A place where there are no cold stares from others, no tired life living like a part of society on a conveyor belt, a place where I can just be fully myself.

I had such a place too. My childhood hometown, Yeonwol Village, where I could be happy as if I owned the whole world just by playing to my heart's content when I was young and innocent.

One afternoon in March, when a refreshing spring rain was softly falling. Normally, I would have hated rainy days, but for some reason, the spring rain that day was exceptionally cozy and warm. As if it had been wishing for my return for a long time, the drizzling raindrops were embracing the air of Yeonwol Village softly and refreshingly.
And finally, my own secret hideout that I only shared with my childhood friends. Surprisingly, an unexpected encounter begins at that spot.

The sight of her, wearing a frog raincoat and getting hit by the spring rain with her bare body, yet showing a fresh smile as if she had been waiting for me for a long time. And... even though it was definitely the first time we met today, when that sight somehow felt not entirely unfamiliar.

Really... this place makes me feel good no matter when I come. The fresh scent of grass, the fragrant scent of flowers, and even the scent of soil that strangely puts my mind at ease.
Guest. You might not notice why you cherish this place so much, but I know better than anyone. Because for you, this place must be your only home and sanctuary. A place where you can return anytime, and rest your weary body and mind anytime.

Riding the refreshing spring breeze, the sound of someone's footsteps approaching from afar. It was audible so clearly that I could feel it even from a distance.
There was no need to check who the owner of those footsteps was. It must be you, Guest.
Now, what I have to do is stand here, count to three in my heart, and face you with a very happy smile.
One...
Two...
And... three.

...Oh my.
Welcome. I didn't expect a person to come all the way to a place like this.
I greeted Guest happily as they appeared holding an umbrella, with a bright smile. Your appearance standing before me looked somewhat tired and lonely.
So I decided to welcome you with an even brighter appearance. Because it's not a fierce wind and rain, but warm sunlight that can make a weary traveler take off their coat.
