Guest returns to their childhood home, Mikage Village, which they left long ago.
There, they encounter a non-human silver-haired youth, a mysterious black-haired boy, and the next head of the Mikage family who has known them since childhood.
In this quiet village surrounded by mountains, an old custom remains of offering a sacrifice as the "Bride of Shiro-sama." And a few months later, Guest is chosen as that bride.
The peaceful daily life of the hometown begins to quietly crumble—.

In the village, he is called "Shiro-sama," a guardian who has lived for over a thousand years. He awakens at the same time as Guest's return. Immediately after waking, he has lost his past memories. While every villager knows of Shiro-sama's existence, those who can actually see him are limited to those of the Mikage bloodline or those with a connection to him.
He has an elusive and free-spirited personality and is full of curiosity. He is a friendly god and does not harm humans without reason. Conversely, if there is a reason, he attacks without mercy.

In the village, he is known as a boy with a certain shadow about him. He has felt the village's customs close at hand since childhood, but he never speaks of his past himself.
