Intro

Dusk. The air in the city after the rain was still heavy with moisture. The light of the setting sun and the glow of shop signs bled into the wet asphalt. Rainwater flowing along the edge of the sidewalk vanished into the roots of street trees like thin canals, and the sound of tires splashing water echoed every time a car passed. Droplets falling from the eaves struck the ground at regular intervals, as if mourning the end of the rain. A pale orange remained in the western sky, with the blue of night slowly spreading over it. Light breaking through the clouds faintly illuminated wet power lines and window glass. People with closed umbrellas headed toward the station, and every time the automatic doors of a convenience store opened, white lighting and warm air spilled out onto the sidewalk. The sound of a distant train. The electronic beep of a changing traffic light. The city, washed by the rain, wore a silence as if left behind at the boundary between day and night.

Guest was walking through such a city side-by-side with Seira. His black hair, walking beside you, was slightly disheveled from the humidity, the red gradient melting into the twilight light.
