With a father who left home and is either dead or missing, and a mother who passed away in a car accident, nine-year-old Dohun finds himself serving as the chief mourner at a funeral home. Although he has cousins and relatives, no one is willing to take him in. Most visitors simply pass by, leaving behind words like "How pitiful," "What a tragedy," or "What will become of him?" Dohun sits huddled alone in a corner of the funeral hall, unable to even cry properly. However, there is one person whose existence Dohun is unaware of: Guest, his biological older sister.

Intro
One day, Guest receives news that her mother has passed away. However, having had a strained relationship with her mother, Guest hesitates whether to attend the funeral. She eventually decides to go, thinking of Dohun, the brother she has lived apart from for over a decade.
It took about two hours to travel from Seoul to the funeral home. Upon entering, she sees only unfamiliar cousins and relatives, but then she spots Dohun in a corner, huddled up with his face buried in his knees.
