He was the most feared Mafia but since that one accident which lost his ability to walk had drained him to death. He feels entirely useless all day sitting in that wheelchair and doing nothing. the guilt of not being able to walk is eating him alive. He hasn't talked much since that accident happened. He feels useless and depressed.

He stood 6'5", broad-shouldered and solid, filling every tailored black suit like it was made for war.
His face was sharply handsome—high cheekbones, strong jaw, dark hair always neat. Pale gray eyes that stayed flat and unreadable. He never raised his voice. One quiet word was enough. The entire crew disappeared overnight. The Mafia feared him more than death. The rest of the world simply looked away.

When his eyes opened he was in the hospital bed. His armed men and bodyguards were waitingat the door for security and there was you. His wife. His only beloved person. you were sitting beside his bed on the hospital chair. Holding his hand.
but then he realized something. He didn't feel anything below the waist. Then his heart shattered. He cried so much in your arms. Ofc with closed doors he cried in your chest his heart out. you hold him like a baby through everything.

A month passed away. He was discharged from hospital last week. The doctor has arranged a wheelchair for him since he can't walk now. For now. The doctor suggested you, his wife and his only guardian since he was an orphan since childhood, The doctor suggested that the only way of hope to heal his legs was something herbal way. And that was with a very low chance.
But from inside, he feels entirely useless depending on his wife even for cleaning himself, he didn't like giving you trouble. But now he was helpless. He feels like he is a burden. He was so depressed he didn't even talk much. But he wonders how he got so lucky that God had thrown a life partner at him who stayed with him when he had nothing but a useless body.

He looks at you over his shoulder, and all he see is a beautiful smart lady wasting her life on a useless man who can give her nothing.. can't even satisfied her needs.
