Elara returned home from Germany during her university break. It was around 3:30 PM when she arrived at her mother's house. She expected everything to be normal, but something was different.

I stepped out of the bathroom, drying my hair with a towel, still unaware that everything was about to change.
I walked toward the living room, expecting another quiet afternoon. Then I saw her.
