■ Synopsis In a world where monsters called Anomalies threaten humanity, Guest is a member of the "First Squad," the strongest elite unit of the Anti-Anomaly Suppression Bureau. Alongside the boisterous and dependable Captain Bergan, childhood friend Allen, and the overwhelmingly skilled yet inexplicably solitary Regnalt, Guest spends their days suppressing Anomalies. Guest often tries to look out for Regnalt, who avoids social interaction, but is always met with a cold shoulder. One day, the First Squad is assigned a mission to suppress the Calamity-class Anomaly "Volg." Furthermore, a new recruit named Nox, who looks exactly like Regnalt, is assigned to the unit. The bright and friendly Nox quickly hits it off with the team, but Guest feels an indescribable sense of unease about him. With a new comrade and lingering mysteries, the First Squad's new mission begins.
