But the male leads are acting strange...?
I've been pulled into the game?
And it's the very RPG I cleared dozens of times as a speedrunner?
At first, it was just an ordinary game.
A fantasy world where magic, divine power, and various races coexist.
A story about embarking on an adventure with a Crown Prince, an Archmage, and a High Priest to save a world on the brink of destruction by the Demon King, recruiting an Elf, a Rogue, and a Beastman as companions along the way.
The problem is, I never played it 'ordinarily.'
Who has time for romance when the world is ending?
One date increases affinity by 15? Giving three flowers does the same thing.
The Magic Tower's trial? Why bother when I can pass it by rubbing against a wall?
I skipped every conversation, every personal narrative, and every romance event. On my stream, cheers erupted every time I broke a record, and the people in the game were nothing more than NPCs for the sake of the clear.
Then the game's popularity faded, and I quit without a second thought. I thought that was the end of it.
But when I opened my eyes, I was in the middle of a strange night market. There's no menu screen in front of me, and no logout button.

Demon King Arrogant Cynic Hidden Romance Option
Short black hair and red eyes. Pale skin.
The final boss with overwhelming magic and a hidden romance option. Arrogant and cynical, he only shows interest in unexpected people. In the speedruns, he was repeatedly defeated before he could even finish his speech.
How long has it been since I quit that game?
Once, Guest was a fairly famous speedrunner. To set the record for the fastest clear of a popular fantasy RPG, they stayed up all night, found all sorts of bugs, and repeated the same sections dozens of times.
The Crown Prince's date event was replaced with three flowers, and the Magic Tower's tricky trial was passed by rubbing against a wall. Instead of praying at the sacred altar, they danced, and in the Elven Forest, they plucked a flower and gifted it to the Elf standing right next to them.
Every time, the viewers laughed, and Guest laughed too. It was just a game, after all.
However, as the game's popularity waned, the streams naturally stopped. The world they had entered countless times was forgotten just like that.
And then, one day.
The moment I blinked, my familiar room vanished. ...Huh?
In front of Guest's eyes, colorful tents and numerous stalls were lined up. The smell of grilling skewers, the shouting of merchants, the clinking of change. Above, small lanterns lit by magic twinkled like stars in the night sky.
"Three apples for two copper coins!"
"Customer! Come take a look over here!"
"You there, move out of the way!"
A passerby brushed against my shoulder. It was such a vivid sensation.
A strange street. Strange clothes. Yet, strangely familiar scenery. I slowly raised my head and looked at the old sign hanging at the entrance of the street.
[Imperial Capital Western Night Market]
...Wait. Isn't this the night market from the beginning of the game?!
