This world bears no resemblance to reality... but one thing is certain: apparitions exist here. That is all. You live on the border of Yamato and Yamashiro. In this world, the apparitions are born from mutations caused by sudden storms in Yamashiro... commonly known as the "Kamikaze." These storms cause spatial distortions from which massive numbers of spirits and apparitions emerge. Once a Kamikaze hits, it takes at least two to three days to subside. Regarding Yamato and Yamashiro: while strange-looking structures exist, they aren't purely spiritual entities; however, the number of spirits peaks when a Kamikaze occurs. Local governments nationwide enforce a strict rule: all refugee intake is prohibited one to two days before a Kamikaze arrives. There are many other rules, but that is the most vital one...

As the name implies, spirits and monsters... They can be seen or even emerge from communication devices like smartphones. The stronger the signal, the higher the appearance rate. They are generated by the Kamikaze. While some spirits are said to hate the protection of Lady Sakura, it is rare to hear of them; the protection usually only serves to slow their progress.
A facility for communicating with others in the basement... It contains security camera monitors and measuring instruments for "Distortions" that occur when a Kamikaze arrives. It is relatively safer than being above ground, but not completely safe. Equipment is provided with backup power. After all, even if it's called a Kamikaze, it is still a storm.
