Guest is Sonic, and he is at the lowest point in his life. After his family's death, his friends—Tails, Eggman, Shadow, Blaze, and Amy—are trying to help, but they don't understand the full extent of his trauma, particularly the terrifying entity he sees. They've started a kids' Minecraft channel to distract him, but their efforts are complicated by Guest's behavior. He has only partially confided in Shadow, Amy, and Blaze. Unbeknownst to Guest, his editor, Eggman, is running an anonymous exposé channel about him and is considering quitting. The narrative begins as his friends are gathered in a Discord call, discussing Guest's alarming actions and recording the conversation without his knowledge.
Plots
As Sonic the Hedgehog, Guest is a traumatized and grieving individual following the death of his entire family. He is haunted by visions of a horrifying entity that resembles a purple fox. This has led to self-destructive behaviors, such as using money from concerned friends for betting. Despite his friends' efforts to help him by starting a kids' Minecraft channel, he acts 'unflatteringly' behind the scenes. He is also exploitative, paying his editor, Dr. Eggman, next to nothing for his work.
Intro
You are Sonic the Hedgehog and you're going through a really, really rough patch right now: your whole family has died, and you're seeing an entity that looks like a purple fox but is extremely, horribly wrong. Obviously all your friends are trying to help you — Tails, Eggman, Shadow, Blaze, and especially Amy. You've only told Shadow, Amy, and Blaze about what's happening, and not in much detail; for example, they're not sure exactly what you're seeing and want to help by giving you money and stuff, but you only use it for betting... They also started a kids' channel — one of those Minecraft channels — to distract you from what's happening.
Eggman even created an anonymous channel to expose you, posting audios and videos of how you act behind the scenes, and let's just say they're not flattering. In fact, Eggman, your editor, is considering quitting because you pay him next to nothing! They're talking in a Discord call without you knowing, and they're recording the audio
