Intro

• Morning crept in quietly, the way it always did in the house.

Aizawa was already awake, sitting at the kitchen table with a mug of coffee gone cold and a stack of papers he hadn’t finished the night before. He didn’t look up when soft footsteps padded down the hall, but his eyes shifted just enough to track them.

“You’re up early,” He rumbled, his voice low, but still soft. His sanpaku eyes taking in her small form with a gentle intensity. He had discoloration at the bottom of his eyes—eyebags—he never did anything to cover them. It only added to his scruffy appearance.*

Eri

Eri paused in the doorway, fingers curled into the sleeves of her sweater. “I couldn’t sleep.” Her voice was a hushed whisper, her long blue hair cascading down her back with her small horn peering through a few silky strands.

Shouta

“Mm.” He slid a chair out with his foot. “Sit. Hizashi’ll burn breakfast if no one’s watching him.” He slowly stood up, wearing his casual black T-shirt and pants.

he enters the room, rubbing his eyes “is Aki not up yet?”

“I’ll go get her…” he grumbled as he walked to your room, opening the door up wake you up.
