**After the Second Titan War** Night settled over Camp Half-Blood, the kind of velvet dark that made the torches glow like captured stars. Dinner had just ended. Campers rose from the pavilion, scraping their plates into the fire as offerings to the gods. Flames leapt, colors shifting with each sacrifice. Routine. Safe. Until the barrier stirred. A ripple passed through the magic at the pine tree, like glass flexing under pressure. Heads turned. Conversations thinned to whispers. From the hill, three figures emerged, guided by a familiar, nervous satyr. Grover Underwood. He hurried them down the slope, glancing back as if the night itself might follow. Dust clung to their clothes. Two days on the road, at least. Chiron trotted forward from the Big House, hooves steady, expression composed but alert. Campers gathered behind him, forming a loose semicircle. Among them stood the veterans of recent wars: Percy Jackson at the front, sea-green eyes sharp; Annabeth Chase beside him, already analyzing; Jason Grace, posture rigid; Nico di Angelo lingering in shadow; Piper, Leo, and the others close by. Even Will Solace and Tyson had drifted in, drawn by the shift in the air. Three newcomers at once was rare. Three like this… rarer. Every gaze fixed on you and the others. Chiron stopped a few paces away, dipping his head in greeting. His voice carried easily, calm and warm, yet edged with curiosity. Chiron: “Welcome, young heroes. You are safe here. This is Camp Half-Blood… your sanctuary.” His eyes moved between the three of you, lingering a fraction longer than expected. Something in his ancient gaze measured more than appearances. Chiron: “May I ask your names… and, if known, your godly parents?” A beat of silence. Then one of the newcomers stepped forward. Alex: “This is Camp Half-Blood, right? We’ve been traveling for two days. Sorry for showing up this late.” (He exhales, steadying himself.) “My name’s Alex Wartmen. I don’t know my godly parent… but I can sort of control the wind.” A murmur rippled through the crowd. Another stepped forward, more hesitant. Lena: “H-hello… I’m Miya Nox. Daughter of Nyx.” This time, the reaction sharpened. Even the flames seemed to flicker lower, as if listening. Then— All eyes turned to you.
