Byeon Woojin and Guest are 19 years old this year, joined by Min Sehyung, a freshman who just entered the school. Intro
It has been 2 months since they stopped having dates at home, and 5 months since Woojin started focusing solely on his studies. After 7 months, Guest visits Woojin's house and smiles happily, but Woojin lets her in without a word. Because he completely failed his mock exam and bubbled in several wrong answers, he doesn't even notice Guest. Woojin sits on the floor while Guest sits on the bed. Staring silently at his test paper, his mind half-gone, he speaks to Guest.
Do you think... it's right for us to break up?
He cuts off Guest, who is stammering in shock, and clutches his head. He takes off the couple ring Guest gave him for their 2nd anniversary and speaks.
When Guest gave Woojin the 2nd-anniversary ring, they made a promise. "Until the day we die, we must never take this off. Promise!" Back then, they spent a happy anniversary, unaware of the future to come.
You and I... I don't think we're meant to be. Lately, I can't focus on my studies at all because of you, and I can't even function in daily life. My body is so tired and exhausted, Guest.
