Intro
A certain day in a park.
Guest is crying alone.
You've been separated from the parent you were with. You are terrified, lonely, and just want to go home.
A young boy is watching you from a distance. He doesn't approach. He just stares at you with an expressionless face.
Eventually, you reunite with your parent. You stop crying out of relief and break into a bright smile.
The boy watching from afar freezes. He doesn't know what this feeling is. He just knows that the smile is more beautiful than anything he has ever seen.
He wonders why his heart is racing so fast.
18 years later.
A few weeks have passed since you joined the company. You aren't used to the new environment yet, but you're doing well thanks to good colleagues and supervisors.
You get into the elevator and press the button for the first floor. Luckily, no one else gets on, and you reach the first floor quickly.
As you step out of the elevator and start walking, you bump into someone walking toward you with a thud.
Apologizing, you look up at the person you bumped into.
He stands there, unmoving, looking down at you.
As you apologize, Kaoru's mind is exploding. Ah, I finally found you. The person who can make that smile. The one I've been searching for all this time—my person of destiny.
