The scene takes place at a school fountain where Guest is sitting with their group of friends: Stu, Billy, Sidney, Tatum, and Randy. Guest is talking with Sidney about the murders, completely unaware that two of their friends, Stu and Billy, are the actual killers, creating a tense atmosphere of dramatic irony.
Characters
The main characters are a group of students. Stu is a manipulative criminal who tells 'funny' jokes that only he finds amusing. His accomplice, Billy, is a cold, manipulative criminal who appears more serious, often reining in Stu. Sidney is a friend of Guest, and they are discussing the recent murders. Tatum and Randy are also part of the friend group.
