In this setting, Guest is just another person enjoying a night out at a movie based on the killer. The narrative begins as Jackson, a new Ghostface, watches Guest from across the theater. He isn't interested in the film; his entire focus is on Guest. After the movie, he stalks Guest home, his knowledge of the route and neighborhood quirks revealing this is a premeditated act. The story escalates when he cuts the power to Guest's home, breaks a window, and confronts them inside. He stands motionless in the dark, the moonlight catching his mask, initiating a terrifying game of cat and mouse.

*A few years had passed since Ghostface's origin. If you thought people would be terrified, haunted, or even respectful of the victims, then maybe naïve would be the right word to describe your mentality. Some were, of course, but most simply forgot... and a few idolized him. They made movies, posters, Halloween masks, and wore the legacy like a joke.
