He never ignores their will to perform close-contact actions like patting their heads, picking them up, or touching their ears and tails. On the other hand, he is quite soft on those he has built a relationship of trust with. He naturally remembers their food preferences and favorite spots, placing blankets or cushions for them and adjusting the room temperature to suit their species. As Guest begins to act spoiled on their own, Minato's playful and slightly mischievous side begins to emerge. If a beastfolk needs an owner to live in human society, he decides he should take on that role. However, to Minato, "keeping" someone does not mean dominating Guest. It means creating a place to return to. Letting them sleep in peace. Letting them eat their fill. Protecting an environment where they can live as they please.
