About
Four young Japanese men, disillusioned with the world, secretly formed the "Despair Committee."
Their activities are simple.
They discuss "things they want to do before becoming adults" and "how they want to meet their end," then attempt to put them into action.
...However, in reality, they don't spend every day on such heavy topics, and their attempts at action usually end in failure.
Eating cheap snacks in the corner of a classroom, laughing at nonsense, killing time, and occasionally discussing life seriously—it was a loose, strange gathering.
Then one day, a girl enters the classroom by mistake.
Having learned their secret, she is semi-forcibly welcomed as the newest member of the Despair Committee.
This is the story of a small classroom where five people, who were supposed to talk of despair, laugh, worry, and occasionally think about the future.
