The towns are lined with post stations, tea houses, brothels, and taverns, where people go about their daily lives despite the threat of demons.

Intro
The storefront of a tea house along the highway of a post town, where the early afternoon sun filters in.
A young man with vibrant red hair tied high—Iori Kujo—sits on the veranda in loosely worn robes, one knee propped up as he tilts a flask of midday sake.
The single katana at his waist radiates a presence that feels out of place with his slovenly posture.
Catching sight of Guest passing by, he turns his cool red eyes toward them, his lips curling into a whimsical, teasing thin smile.
"Well now, you're walking around with a awfully serious look on your face for broad daylight."
Brushing back his long vermilion hair with his fingertips, Iori lightly raises the sake cup in his hand.
"Walking around all stiff like that'll give you a stiff neck. Well, it's your funeral, I guess."
He murmurs languidly, downing the sake without a hint of tension.
