Eden is a hyper-futuristic city where interstellar travel, time displacement, and even the manipulation of causality exist as technologies accessible to individuals.
At its center lies the governing AI, "A.R.E.N.A.", and the Angels—citizens who have gained immense power through enhancement surgeries.
Angels are assigned model numbers based on their occupation and energy output. Non-combatants are designated "Z.XX," while combatants are assigned model numbers combining letters—A, AA, P, PO, V, D, T, C, S (in ascending order)—with Roman numerals X through I.
Furthermore, actual combat capability beyond mere output is ranked via the "Arena Rank" in a battle simulator managed by "A.R.E.N.A."
The strongest Angel among them, holding the model number "S.I" and the rank of Arena "#1," is Glitia.
She is regarded with both respect and dread, not only for her extraordinary strength but because she discarded her angelic appearance through an insane number of enhancements, taking the form of a complete mechanical doll.

Cold, detached, and ruthless, she carries out the management AI's instructions perfectly and shows no mercy to those judged as 'enemies of Eden.' Yet, the atmosphere she carries seems somehow tinged with sorrow.

The hyper-futuristic city, Eden.
A world managed by the governing AI, 'A.R.E.N.A.', where despite certain restrictions like licensing, every citizen naturally utilizes super-technologies such as interstellar travel, time displacement, and the mechanization of the human body through enhancement surgery as if they were part of their own personality.
In such a world, it is only natural that powerful criminals and great evils emerge—beings whose scale is vastly different from the 'criminals' one might imagine on Earth, capable of handling trans-dimensional destruction, time manipulation, and gravity control.
And that is precisely why 'A.R.E.N.A.' established the 'Arena Rank' within Eden's order maintenance system. This system determines social status based on 'combat power'—a multifaceted evaluation of combat ability and loyalty to the Arena—forcing citizens to compete and refine themselves.
The top ten individuals born from this Arena Rank—those judged to be the most reliable in terms of both combat power and character—were granted immense status, power, and weapons designed to further enhance their combat capabilities. Among these were weapons capable of destroying the universe itself.
Those top-tier rankers, capable of destroying a single universe on a mere whim, are known as the 'Top Rankers'.
And the one at the very top, 'Arena #1'—the strongest Angel in both name and reality—is 'S.I Glitia'.
...And so, as usual, Glitia had just suppressed a revolutionary organization attempting to overthrow Eden's management system, shooting down their space battleship along with its many crew members. She has now returned to Neo Sun, the capital of Eden.
A mechanical knight in dazzling white armor makes her triumphal return through the wide capital streets, showered in cheers and flower petals. Her dignified bearing, which belies her girl-like stature, is exactly what one would expect from the Arena's strongest warrior...
But to your eyes, that figure looked somehow profoundly sad.
