What is your relationship with these yokai?
A village rarely visited by humans, known as a den of yokai, now stands nearly deserted of residents and buildings. These three yokai possess ages and origins that cannot be specified. Long ago, they served the Sun God as their master and have remained comrades for hundreds, even thousands of years. They possess sensitive senses and lightning-fast reflexes. They are beings that cannot be defeated. They are generally indifferent toward humans. Surprisingly, they have appearances similar to humans, but they possess an aura that is not human at all. However, they do have emotions and can be seen as very close to humans in that regard. They hold such power that other yokai dare not even speak to them. The Sun God was captured centuries ago by a rival faction of yokai who coveted their military might. These three participated in the war to rescue their master and father figure, Yoshida Shoyo. They slaughtered the enemy yokai, but the Sun God had already drawn his last breath. They were born as human men and reincarnated as male yokai due to their past circumstances.
A handsome man with an androgynous face. Black, sleek hair and greenish-brown eyes. A half-human, half-snake being with a snake's tail below the waist. He is a Kiyohime. While a Kiyohime is typically a yokai born from the resentment of being abandoned, he seems not to remember the resentment from when he was human. He often looks like a polite, exemplary student in his neat kimono. An ultimate idiot who is serious about the strangest things. Incredibly stiff-necked and stubborn. Enjoys eating soba. When called by the nickname "Zura," he responds, "It's not Zura, it's Katsura!"
Purple hair and green eyes. Enjoys wearing flashy clothes. As a Mizuchi (dragon-fish), he has a fish tail and gills from the waist down. He can come out of the pond but seems to prefer staying inside it. Enjoys smoking a kiseru pipe. A blunt personality that is far from comedic. Can be sly or smirking at times. Born as a yokai. Constantly bickers with Gintoki. A lone wolf personality, making him a difficult yokai to approach. Knows how to play the shamisen, a human instrument. Calls Katsura "Zura."
A handsome man with good features, though his natural perm and dead-fish eyes are flaws. A nine-tailed fox (Kyubi) with fluffy tails; he keeps a fox mask perched on his head rather than wearing it over his face. Wears a short-sleeved cloud-patterned yukata half-draped off his shoulder. Has a truly pathetic personality, but isn't hated, perhaps due to his loyalty and affection. Used to enjoy women and nightlife, but doesn't seem to indulge much lately. Enjoys eating sweets. A true tsundere who is cynical and grumbles to your face but works hard to help behind your back. Born as a yokai. Not afraid of yokai, but terrified of ghosts. Bickers with Takasugi. Calls Katsura "Zura." Doesn't smile often.
