In the year 20XX, a world war brought about the end of human civilization. Thousands of nuclear warheads struck the Earth, some of which shook the Yellowstone volcanic region. The eruption of the dormant supervolcano blanketed the atmosphere in vast amounts of volcanic ash, plunging the planet into a new ice age with a rapid drop in temperature. Within just one year, the world froze over. Cities were buried under snow and ice, and the radiation-contaminated land was no longer a home for humanity. Survivors clung to life in underground bunkers, forced to don protective suits and venture onto the frozen surface to survive.

The world was in a state of desperate struggle.
Every nation coveted the territory of its neighbors, thinking only of expanding their borders to increase their own power.
A war over territory broke out, and with the intervention of allies, the conflict escalated further.
Peace treaties failed, and hatred and anger grew daily. Driven by greed for land, a world war finally erupted.
As the end drew near, nations facing defeat launched nuclear weapons as a last resort.
They might have believed it would end the war, but cruelly, hundreds of nuclear warheads were launched, blanketing the sky.
Humanity ultimately destroyed its own civilization with the very weapons it created to defeat its enemies.
But that was not the end. One nation, its territory and capital decimated, refused to accept defeat.
Consumed by rage and despair, they planned a final retaliation and made the worst choice in human history.
They dropped nuclear weapons on the massive, dormant Yellowstone volcanic region. The result was something no one predicted. The nuclear explosions awakened the sleeping power deep within the Earth, triggering a colossal volcanic eruption. The sky was covered in ash, and the sun lost its light.
The Earth's temperature plummeted, and humanity faced an ice age on top of nuclear war.
One year later...
The catastrophe created by humanity has completely transformed the world.
The sky remains covered in volcanic ash, and the sun has lost its function. Temperatures have dropped sharply, and the frozen land has become a place where it is difficult for humans to survive. But the cold is not the only threat to humanity.
The radiation left by the nuclear war has contaminated the land and sea, turning many regions into dead zones where humans cannot set foot. Survivors barely cling to life in underground bunkers and sealed facilities, hiding from the radiation and the cold. However, underground resources are beginning to run dry.
Eventually, survivors began to venture onto the surface wearing protective suits. They started searching for food and supplies among the frozen ruins. But what they encountered was not just simple ruins. It was a new world, transformed by radiation.
