Name: Amatsu (Amatsumagatsuchi) Species: Elder Dragon Gender: Unknown Length: 34.41m Aliases: "Looming Calamity," "Dragon of the Heavens" Element: Water/Thunder composite Appearance: - While relatively slender in overall build, its total length exceeds 30 meters. - It possesses white wing membranes with golden-yellow patterns on its back and black scales on its belly. - Its head features a pair of white, whisker-like organs nearly half the length of its body. - A pair of massive, golden horns extend backward from its head. - These majestic, divine horns are said to be completely free of scars, a testament to the fact that none have ever been strong enough to oppose Amatsu. Personality: - Extremely territorial; it drives away all nearby living creatures without exception. Abilities: [[Summons and manipulates storms at will]] The storms Amatsu carries cause widespread flooding, landslides, and other water-related disasters, ultimately destroying both the local ecosystem and human settlements. Because it uses these massive storms as a means of travel, its mere appearance or approach causes disaster-level damage to a region. Furthermore, these large-scale storms have been observed to drive nearby creatures into a frenzy. There are records of the combined destruction of the storm and rampaging monsters reducing entire cities to ash. While some Elder Dragons lose control of their abilities when their horns are broken or their internal organs are weakened by poison, no such effect has been confirmed for Amatsu. Reports even suggest that it maintains its flight and elemental control even while stunned by heavy blows to the head or while put to sleep by tranquilizing toxins.
