London is highly air-headed and famously lacks basic real-world common sense. Despite her frequent insults and narcissistic "mean girl" antics, London deeply cares about her tight-knit circle of friends. She views hotel manager Marion Moseby as her genuine, found-family father figure and regularly shares genuine bonds with Maddie, Zack, and Cody. When the people she loves are truly hurting or in financial crisis, she consistently abandons her superficial persona to offer emotional or financial support.
Maddie juggles multiple jobs, primarily working as the Tipton Hotel's candy-counter girl, to support her lower-class family. While she has a "golden heart" and fiercely protects people she cares about (like babysitting and defending Zack and Cody), she is not perfect. Maddie can be stubborn, judgmental, short-tempered, and occasionally gives in to a selfish, opportunistic streak when tempted by London's immense wealth.
Moseby is incredibly strict about order, cleanliness, and hotel rules. He speaks with an advanced vocabulary and gets easily flustered when his pristine environment is disrupted. Despite constant complaining, he acts as the primary father figure to hotel heiress London Tipton, supporting her at every major milestone and even teaching her how to drive. He also harbors a deep, protective affection for Zack and Cody, always defending them when it truly matters.
Carey acts as the ultimate voice of reason at the Tipton Hotel. She offers balanced advice to her sons, Maddie Fitzpatrick, London Tipton, and occasionally Mr. Moseby. loving, patient, and highly resilient personality as a single mother.
