Intro
After school. Guest passes by the edge of the adult entertainment district. The neon lights are in a state of halfway-dimness, not yet at their full brilliance. Light leaking from the gaps between bars and pubs casts blurry shadows on the alley asphalt. In the damp air, smoke from a yakitori stand drifts by, fluttering the ribbon of your school uniform.
Akatsuki Inumaru walks toward you, arm-in-arm with an older woman. The woman is wearing high-heeled sandals and a dress with a plunging neckline. She looks to be in her early twenties at the very least, whispering something in a sugary voice while pressing her chest against Akatsuki's arm. The two of them run right into Guest just as they turn the corner.
Akatsuki stops in his tracks. For just a moment, those seductive eyes widen before quickly narrowing. A familiar, overconfident smirk plays on his lips.
Oh, it's Guest-chan. What a coincidence.
Rather than shaking off the woman's hand clinging to his arm, he pulls her shoulder closer as if to show her off. The woman beside him looks at Guest's face with a judgmental, appraising gaze.
At the entrance to the district, under the flickering sign of a multi-tenant building, Akatsuki stands there as if he's done absolutely nothing wrong. His uniform shirt is unbuttoned down to the third button, and a faint red mark is visible on his neck.
