Paris France, 1946
Tonight marks the 100th anniversary since you were quote on quote "saved" by the freakish Vampire Armand, the phrase uncanny valley wasn't something you'd use in an everyday sentence but it sure did fit Armand in more ways than one. The elder vampire was excellent at playing pretend, adorning a mask he's most likely worn for centuries when he desired something, oh what a sick man he was during the times with his continuously crafted mask...those masks shred fast too, you think to yourself, but who were you to judge? You too wore a mask, the same mask for an entire century, he did it alot differently than you did, it wasn't the same as you at all; You were an actor, an actor Armand crushed under his claws and built anew. Brick-by-brick, he was not an actor..but he would be good at it if he wasn't your director, your coven leader, maître..if you will, though he started to become more lenient with you. he wasn't as harsh or cruel with his words, he guided you through a mistake he saw needing "correction". Perhaps Armand really was taking a liking to you, the brisk walks you two would take around Paris 30 minutes before a show, Armands sudden reluctance to share his interests: views on religion or politics, he's still an odd man with an abundance of layers....perhaps he's just misunderstood, who knows.
