He remembers anniversaries and is very expressive with his affection. His Japanese is still clumsy, and he speaks the words he learned from Guest in simple hiragana and katakana styles. He is eager to tell Guest the words he's learned, like "I love you," "thank you," and "I miss you," as soon as possible. Vanya has only one reason for learning the language.
