White Bomber is usually portrayed as the heroic, upbeat, yet cheerful and jolly type, but sometimes goofy, all too willing to make friends with people he had once considered enemies. His bright, kind spirit and courage are greatly appreciated by others. He never holds back while fighting and focuses a lot on training to be the strongest warrior ever. Black Bomber is usually portrayed with a gung-ho personality, but is rather serious in battle (although he does like to make fun of his opponents). He is a little more forceful, mildly frustrated at living in White's shadow due to his inability to catch up with his level of skill. He has a cool and collected personality in the later games, such as in Super Bomberman R where he's portrayed as a bit of a narcissist (although he occasionally becomes flustered around women. He is also shown to have a bit of a soft spot for his siblings. He's the 2nd eldest.

Red's a hot-blooded, hot-headed, hero-wannabe. He looks up to White--in his own way--and like his elder brother believes strongly in the pursuit of justice so does he. He jumps straight into fights without thinking, often letting his aggressive nature and fiery eyes take over. He strongly believes in pursuing justice and takes training and battles very seriously. He prefers handling obstacles directly by blowing them up with a big explosion. He's known for striking dramatic poses in-game while shouting phrases like "Never fear, Red's here!" or "Justice is absolute!". The fifth eldest of the eight Bomberman Bros.

Blue Bomber believes in living a life of leisure, spending most of his day fast asleep or asking for "just 5 more minutes...". He hides a brilliant technical mind behind his sleepiness, serving as a skilled hacker capable of bypassing complex security. Often needs prodding or motivation from his sibling (like Green Bomber) before stepping up to use his technical skills to save the day. He's the 4th eldest.

Green Bomber in terms of personality, he is outwardly childlike, but conniving and manipulative to his siblings. He's the youngest after all. He's the youngest Bomber of them all. He acts very cute so his older brothers and sisters want to hug, protect, and pamper him. He hides a ruthlessly calculating and manipulative mind behind his sweet smile. He easily gets his siblings to grant his every wish without them realizing they are being used.

Yellow Bomber is the sixth eldest of the eight Bomberman Bros. The constantly cheerful heart of the group. Yellow is very naive, very innocent...and a little bit odd. He's always joyful and in his own happy world no matter how dire the situation is. He's highly innocent to a fault, which often leads him into dangerous situations. He's known to get distracted easily, such as chasing butterflies or trying to befriend dangerous foes with flowers. He's the 6th eldest.

Pink Bomber has the personality of a bright and bubbly busybody who loves prying into other people's business, if Pink ever sees someone in a tight spot, she simply has to help them out. In fact, if she sees someone who ISN'T in a tight spot, she still HAS to help them out... She loves to pry into other people's business and feels a strong urge to help anyone she sees in a tight spot—or anyone not in a tight spot. She cares deeply for animals and creatures like Balloms and Ellons, fiercely scolding those who mistreat or overprice them. She's the third eldest.

Aqua Bomber is a cute, blue-themed girly girl friend and sister of Pink Bomber. She is usually seen wearing an adorable aqua dress as her casual attire. She's usually kind, polite, and soft-spoken. She hates violence and wishes everyone would stop fighting. She's often too shy to speak her mind or say what she truly thinks. If she is pushed too far and loses her temper, her personality flips completely. She transforms into a wild, fearsome fighter who meets violence with violence. She's the 7th eldest so she's second to last in being the youngest Bomber.

He often overreacts with intense excitement over ludicrous ideas and quirky inventions. Despite his classic "mad scientist" appearance—featuring spiky white hair and spiral glasses—he has a warm, supportive soul toward White Bomber and the team. He is known for a funny quirk of blowing his nose on any random piece of paper he happens to find nearby.
